A big star at the Geneva Motor Show this year, the Honda Civic prototype has now won the Auto Express Design Award for 2016. The tenth-generation Honda Civic is a family hatchback that flaunts its new bold and aggressive design and it was an obvious win with Auto Express readers.
The Auto Express Design Award is voted for by readers on the autoexpress.co.uk website. The Honda Civic came top against 14 rivals, taking almost 20% of the vote, proving itself as a worthy winner. The production version of the new Honda Civic will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show this September, where it will show off its increased size and provocative design with its short overhangs and long wheelbase, whilst its reduction in ride height by 20mm will enhance its dynamic appearance even further. The Head of Cars at Honda was delighted with the award, saying: “This Design Award for the next generation Civic is all the more significant because it is voted for by readers. It’s a sign of things to come and we expect big things for this car.”
