Our Social Distancing Process
As we continue to navigate through these challenging times, West Way is doing everything we can to keep our customers and work force safe. To ensure this can happen we have worked hard on a social distancing process for all of our 14 showrooms.
Firstly, we have taken the decision to remove a number of model cars from our showrooms and reorganise desks and chairs to increase free space so that our staff and customers can socially distance throughout their time visiting or working with us.
The front door to each of our dealerships will be manned by a member of staff throughout the day to ensure that we do not go above capacity. Any others doors will be out of order. If these doors are fire exits, they will not be locked however we will sign post each door as out of order. We also have hand sanitiser and cleaning products at hand at all times to ensure that everything is wiped down after any contact and that our customers and staff can sanitise during there time with us. Face masks are needed during your visit unless you are exempt from using one due to any reason stated by the government.
Each customer who has an appointment made will be asked to come alone to reduce numbers in the showroom. The customer can have the option to bring a maximum of one further person if they require assistance.
In our waiting area we will have a designated Parent and child area with 3 seats available for any parent who needs to bring their child to their appointment. We are also keeping all chairs at least 2m apart from each other to abide by social distancing regulations.
Finally, all cars in the showroom will be locked and can be viewed by asking a member of staff to open them for you to look around. This lets us monitor when a car is being touched or viewed so that we can then sanitise the vehicle afterwards to protect the next customer wanting to view this vehicle.
