West Way Awarded Silver Status for Armed Forces Covenant’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

West Way is thrilled, excited and proud to announce we have been awarded Silver Status in the armed forces Covenant’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, progressing on from the Bronze Award received in 2019.

West Way has a stellar record of supporting the employment and development of veterans both old and young and we continue to work to achieve our ambition of working closely with the Employer Recognition Scheme to help members of the military community by delivering long-term support to charities, ex-veterans and their families.

With a number of our work-force being ex-forces, this Silver Award is testament to the hard work achieved throughout the group in continuing to offer a viable career opportunity for ex-veterans.

Having previously held partnership with military organisations such as The Red Devils Parachute Regiment and H-Hour, it is West Way’s intention to continue to support this rewarding scheme to achieve our ultimate goal of Gold Status.
