The All-New Nissan LEAF hits the streets in Copenhagen
When the Nissan LEAF first launched in Europe back in 2011, it made history as the world’s first mass-market electric car. Now it is back, bigger, bolder and smarter than ever. Built proudly in Britain, at Nissan’s world-class EV manufacturing hub in Sunderland, the new Nissan LEAF combined cutting-edge engineering with a fresh, dynamic crossover look designed at Nissan’s Global Design Studio in Atsugi, Japan.
It’s sleek, flowing silhouette isn’t just beautiful, it’s aerodynamic, boasting a drag coefficient of just 0.25 for maximum efficiency. Flush mounted door handles, sculpted surfaces and a flowing roofline create a design that demands attention, while details like the unique 3D tail light signature, optional 19” aerodynamic alloy wheels and a dimming panoramic roof elevate its premium feel.
Inside, the all-new Nissan LEAF is family ready and versatile, offering up to 437 litres of cargo, a power liftgate, and roof rail options for added practicality. The car is also available in seven expressive colour choices including the signature Luminous Teal, letting you make the car your own.
Performance is just as impressive. With two battery options, 52kWh and 75kWh, drivers can enjoy ranges of 271 miles and 386 miles (WLTP) retrospectively. And when it is time to recharge, 150 kW DC fast charging delivers up to 273 miles in just 30 minutes! Plus, with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, with up to 3.1kW output, ou can power small devices like laptops or camping gear with ease.
The driving experience is elevated by features like e-Pedal Step for smooth one-pedal driving, ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link for adaptive cruise control, and a 3D around view monitor with innovative perspectives like Invisible Hood View for navigating tight spaces.
Safety is paramount in, with a suite of advanced systems including Intelligent Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Intervention, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Keep Assist. These are all designed to give you confidence on every journey.
At the heart of the LEAF’s connected experience is NissanConnect with Google built-in, offering seamless integration with your digital daily life. Enjoy Google Maps with In Car Route Planner, Google Assistant for hands-free control, and access to apps via the Google Play Store. Inside, twin 14.3” screens create a fully connected cockpit, while the NissanConnect Services app keeps you in control remotely, whether checking battery status, pre-conditioning the cabin, or planning your next trip.
