Nissan has revealed the newly redesigned 2026 Nissan X-Trail, offering a fresh look at one of the world’s most recognised SUVs. Redesigned with future in mind, the latest X-Trail brings a bold new vision to a model trusted by millions.

For more than 25 years, the X-Trail has stood for rugged capability, confidence, and dependable family adventures across all types of terrain. The new redesign builds on that legacy, blending modern styling with durability and versatility the X-Trail is known for.

So what do we think of the X-Trail?

It definitely delivers a bold sense of elevation and rugged design, thanks to its strengthened exterior identity. With a newly redesigned front end, it features a wider cleaner v-motion grille, which gives the X-Trail a more commanding stance. Coming as standard with 20'' alloy wheels, full-LED daytime running lights, and the iconic boomerang design taillights, it will definitely turn heads when you’re at traffic lights! It also now features new glossy black accents which gives it an elevated premium feel.

New to the 2026 model, there are two new colours to choose from, Sukomo Blue and Coastal Dune, which both complement the new design.
Moving onto the inside, it delivers a heightened sense of comfort and craftsmanship, The cabin features a warm, welcoming atmosphere with its new luxurious chestnut brown quilted leather upholstery, refined brown wood-effect console detailing. If that isn’t your vibe, you can choose a high-quality synthetic alternative.

The X-Trail undoubtedly is still family focused, even more so now with heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel and three zone air conditioning, meaning everyone will enjoy the journey! A new feature we love, is the 40/20/40 sliding second row, which allows you to easily adjust space for passengers, luggage, or larger items.

One of our favourite features on the X-Trail is the new 360° 3D viewing mode which offers drivers eight different camera angles, meaning parking in those small and uncomfortable spaces is now easier! New features include Invisible Hood View, which uses front camera imaging to show exactly where your front wheels are. Finally, T-Junction View provides a wide forward angle at low speeds meaning even with little to no visibility, the X-Trail is full of features to protect your vehicle.

The N-Trek Grade is perfect for those who love full on adventures! With striking magma red details on the bumper inserts. interior stitching and black and red Nissan logos across the vehicle - it definitely has a distinct look. A cool feature of the N-Trek grade is the CellCloth waterproof upholstery, that repel water and keep the seats dry to the touch, meaning no adventure is too much for the interior of the X-Trail!

The X-Trail is available to order now and will be available in the following trim levels; Acenta Premium, N-Connecta, N-Trek and Tekna and prices will start from £38,220.
