The Nissan Micra repositioned itself firmly into the heart of the supermini sector with the launch of the re-shaped and tech-filled model in 2017. The Micra offers customers striking new-looks, plenty of tech and practicality to rival the best in its class.

The redesigned Micra entered a market with numerous competitors, including the established Volkswagen Polo. Below, we compare the Micra and the Polo for price, spec, practicality and economy.  

Key things to note are that both models offer petrol only engines with the Micra being able to offer 48-63 mpg combined with the Polo offering between 49-54 mpg combined. The second thing to note is the pricing alters significantly for each improvement in the grades with the highest grade Micra, which is a Tekna starting from £19,765.
