The Super Cub C125 is built to handle whatever you've got.

Honda Bike Super Cub C125

In continuous production since 1958, the Honda Super Cub remains the transport of choice for millions of riders all over the globe. Indeed, more than 100 million units were manufactured before the close of 2017 – and there’s no sign of a production slowdown. If anything, the bike is as popular now as it’s ever been.

The key to its success, other than its captivatingly unaffected style, is its sheer practicality. It’s a bike that’s as ideal for first-time riders as it is for those who have experienced a wide range of motorcycles.

If you’re an A1 licence-holder, you can’t go wrong with the Super Cub C125, which is super-easy and comfortable to ride and produces more power than ever while offering enhanced fuel efficiency.

Rocking the retro look

If you compare the current-day Super Cub with its 1958 counterpart, you’ll notice that the original aesthetics are very much in place. After all, why mess with a winning formula? However, while the new Super Cub C125 proudly honours its predecessors, it’s been adapted to meet the needs of today’s riders. Certainly, the contemporary model represents Honda’s unceasing desire to incrementally evolve its heritage bikes while retaining the qualities that made them so desirable in the first place. The latest model features plenty of refinements, including the addition of a pillion seat and ready-fixed foot pegs, allowing a companion to join you on your rides. Another update: all-LED lighting, ensuring that you benefit from high-intensity, super-efficient and long-lasting visibility, which very much applies to other road users too.

All-weather comfort

It’s the nature of the beast, of course, but motorcycle riding isn’t always conducive to the worst elements of the weather. However, the Super Cub’s expansive leg shields certainly help in this regard, deflecting directly approaching rain and wind.

Efficient and nimble

The latest Super Cub is propelled by an air-cooled, SOHC, four-stroke, two-valve 125cc engine that outputs 9.6bhp and 10.4Nm, enabling nippy acceleration and a top speed of 67mph. This makes it ideal for urban environments, particularly since it returns up to 188mpg and produces CO2 emissions from just 34g/m. Thanks to a number of 2021 revisions, the bike now meets Euro 5 regulations, and with its 3.7-litre tank freshly filled, it offers a maximum 152-mile range. The bike provides the convenience of keyless ignition and features a four-speed gearbox which is governed by an automatic centrifugal clutch, leaving you to twist and go. Once in motion, the Super Cub’s slender proportions and 17-inch wheels allow it to nimbly proceed through traffic, with the latter also offering plenty of grip.
