Honda, the top motorcycle brand globally, aims for everyone to experience the joy of riding securely and confidently. That's why they established a school dedicated to teaching you just that.

At Honda School of Motorcycling, there are no additional charges or hidden fees (covering initial test fees, insurance, and fuel). Their expert team can also provide insights into the complete Honda lineup.

Take a look at what they can offer below:

Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)

Your Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) course will equip you with the necessary skills to ride a motorcycle up to 125cc. Typically, you can complete the CBT in one day. The course begins with a classroom session covering the basics, followed by practice in an off-road area to familiarise yourself with handling the motorcycle or scooter. Once you have mastered machine control, the day concludes with a minimum two-hour assessed road ride. If your instructor is satisfied with your safe and confident riding abilities, you will receive your DL 196 – Certificate of Compulsory Basic Training.

Full Course

The Full Licence Course begins with your Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), followed by the necessary training to obtain your licence. The motorcycle test is divided into two parts: first, you must successfully complete the Off-Road Module 1 test. After that, you'll receive additional training to prepare for the Module 2 – On-Road test. You must pass your Theory test before taking the Module 1 test, but your training provider can assist you in arranging this if needed.

Once you pass your test, you'll be ready to hit the road on the bike of your choice.

Refresher Course

Perfect for those who have not ridden in a while and wish to regain their confidence. Benefit from a full day of guidance from a Honda expert. In addition to refreshing your memory, you will acquire new skills, techniques, and valuable safety advice. The refresher training commences with off-road practice to help you reacquaint yourself. The instructor will then customise the rest of the day based on your skill level, providing you with a personalised assessment of your performance before you leave.

Step Up Course

Tailored for individuals holding a CBT certificate and having passes a theory test, and now aiming to upgrade to a larger motorcycle. Their certified instructors can guide you to achieve A1,A2 or A standard, providing you with a wider range of riding options. Start riding a bigger bike immediately and practice manoeuvring in the training zone before hitting the road. Once prepared, you will ride to the DVLA with your instructor to take your Mod 1 test. The Mod 2 test can be taken the next day.
