Low cost, high output

A new, more powerful Enhanced Smart Power Plus (eSP+) engine replaces the outgoing version. As opposed to the previous two-valve mechanism, this four-valve unit sees an increase in total valve area, plus improved air-intake and exhaust efficiency, which means greater power output. This scooter’s water-cooled SOHC 125cc engine produces up to 11.3bhp and 12.1Nm of torque, enabling sharper acceleration and a peak 140mpg. With a full 5.5-litre fuel tank, the SH Mode 125 offers a maximum 170-mile range – it’s fully Euro 5 compliant too, producing CO2 emissions as low as 49g/km. Despite its recent bodywork upgrades, additional features and brand-new engine, the SH Mode 125 remains the most affordable of all Honda’s 125cc scooters.
