Meet the Honda CB125F, which is super popular, super affordable, super economical and super fun to ride and run. When you factor in Honda’s excellent reputation for build quality and reliability, it’s a compelling proposition.
If you’re looking for a low-maintenance and very stylish 125cc commuter, you’ll be hard pressed to find anything better. It’s a great bike to begin your motorcycling journey with too – especially since it’s the two-wheeler of choice for a vast number of training schools.
Long after you’ve ridden away on your brand-new CB125F, we’ll be here to provide it with all the servicing, repairs and MOTs it needs, thanks to our first-class and wide-ranging aftersales expertise.
Full-size feel
Though lightweight and learner-friendly, Honda has provided the CB125F with a full-sized look and feel. The result: a bike of consequence, one that’s possessed of a chunky-looking fuel tank and expansively angular nose fairing and fly screen. Though not classified as a sports bike, the CB125F very much exudes racy vibes. For instance, a pitch-dark engine and exhaust provide a striking contrast to the bike’s vivid graphics, silver-coloured side shrouds and scarlet-toned twin rear shocks. While we’re on the subject of colour, you’ll be interested to know that there are three finishes to choose from. If you hanker after a moody, dark look (with occasional silver and scarlet relief), Pitch Black should pit the bill perfectly. On the other hand, Pearl Cool White brings light to the bike’s shade. Alternatively, Pearl Splendour Red emphasises one of life’s most vivid colours.

Fun to ride, easy to handle
The Honda CB125F is an excellent city motorcycle option, offering the kind of zippy acceleration that allows it to easily keep pace – and pull away – from traffic. Nevertheless, a five-speed gearbox ensures that it’s a bike with more than just an urban pedigree. An air-cooled two-valve OHC engine outputs 10.4bhp and 10.2Nm. This means that it’s more than capable of a cruising speed of 60mph, even with a full-size adult rider – and it offers a top speed of approximately 70mph. This 125cc bike is a blast to ride around town and it’s very economical too, returning an average 107mpg and offering a full-tank range of 310 miles. What’s more, it produces CO2 emissions as low as 34g/km.
