West Way Southampton is helping bring Christmas to more children this festive season by donating a Nissan X-Trail SUV to charity Cash for Kids.
Cash for Kids runs the Mission Christmas charity drive each December, asking people to donate unwanted toys which will go to disadvantaged or disabled children from newborns to 18-year olds.
The Southampton dealership has been working with the charity, which is run locally by radio station Wave 105, for four years and acting as a drop-off point for toy donations.
This year, for the second time, West Way Southampton has also donated a Nissan X-Trail for the duration of the campaign to transport the presents.
Sales Manager Craig Pullinger, who arranged the partnership, said: “We love being able to help Cash for Kids and we’re pleased to still be supporting them four years later. It’s a fantastic charity that does a great job of spreading Christmas cheer to those who need it.”
The toy collecting is now completed and the team are preparing to deliver the gifts. However, those who wish to support the charity can still donate by texting MISSION to 70905 to give £5, 70910 to give £10 or 70920 to give £20.
