Nissan LEAF titled 'Best Used Electric Family Car'
The Nissan LEAF has been selected as the 'Best Used Electric Family Car' at the What Car? Awards 2021, which annually recognises the best electric and hybrid vehicles!
At this years annual What Car? Electric Car Awards, the Nissan LEAF was titled the 'Best Used Electric Family Car'! This years panel praised the electric vehicle for it's 'comfortable ride' and 'polished handling'. They said 'A truly viable alternative to the traditional family car, the LEAF is practical and good to drive, [while] its range makes it useful for more than just commuting. Overall, the 40kWh LEAF impresses next to its used rivals'. The LEAF was also previously awarded 'Best Used Electric Car' in 2018 by the What Car? Used Car Awards.
Since it's intial release in 2010, the LEAF has seen many developments, including battery capactiy and performance from 24kWh to 30kWh in 2016. However, the second generation model, which was introduced back in 2018, now offers 40kWh and 62kWh versions.
