West Way supports Mission Christmas
West Way has prepared an All-New Qashqai for radio station Wave 105 to use during their Mission Christmas campaign.
When Wave 105 announced they were yet again going to be launching Mission Christmas, West Way Southampton were more than happy to try and find a way to help the cause.
The Mission Christmas campaign is held over the festive period. The aim of this campaign is to gather presents from donators, or "secret santas", so they can be redistributed to children in the area who are disadvantaged and may not receive presents. It's reported that 102,000 children in the south of England will be living in poverty this Christmas, and all could be helped by the generosity of secret santas.
Listeners of Wave105 are being encouraged to help the cause by donating gifts. This can be done by leaving your gifts at special drop-off points which are placed across the area.
Alternatively, people can donate cash or hold fundraisers, which can be donated to Cash for Kids, and then will be spent on presents for the children.

When asked why he supports such a cause Terry Hancock, the Dealer Principle of our Southampton dealership, says 'we've been doing it for a while, and we wouldn't dreaming stopping doing that.
'It's one of the most important local charities, and being able to benefit children that are in real need at such an important time of the year is vitally important'
He also added that 'doing something as small as this, however it helps, is really worth while, and we're very happy to do so.'
