West Way Stourbridge to Help Santa With His Rounds
Our Stourbridge Dealership will be helping Santa with his rounds...
Our Stourbridge Dealership will be helping Santa with his rounds this Christmas by lending him Santa's sleigh for a fortnight of fund raising. Following on from a successful partnership last year, Stourbridge on Brettell Lane are supplying the Bewdley Round Table Group with a Nissan NT400 Cabstar to take Santa around town and raise money for charity. The commercial vehicle has been decorated to resemble Santa’s sleigh and will be transporting him and his helpers around Bewdley. Paul Grennall, General Manager at West Way Stourbridge, said: “It’s a great pleasure to once again help the Round Table Group with their fund raising work this Winter. Along with Matt Wood from the Bewdley Round Table.[/caption] “The Cabstar looks fantastic with all of the decorations on and we’re pleased to be involved in a tradition that is part of the magic of Christmas for the younger generations – Santa doing his rounds – as well as raising money for the local community.” Rob Thompson from the Round Table Group, said: “West Way Stourbridge were kind enough to lend us a vehicle for this last year and we raised over £1800, so we’re more than happy to work with them again this year. “Last year’s money went to several community requests, including buying an Apple computer – in conjunction with Round Table Children’s Wish - for a young girl called Lucy who is suffering with major heart problems.” Santa and his helpers from the Round Table Group will be on the roads of Bewdley in the coming weekend evenings until around 8PM.
