West Way in Manchester is the latest major company to team up with Premiership Rugby Club Sale Sharks. The dealership, which is part of the biggest Nissan retail group in the UK, have signed an 18-month contract with the Premiership side. As part of the deal, West Way will have both marketing and branding rights. Dealer Principal and Sale Sharks fan Dave Gordon, has overseen seven Nissan cars being handed to staff at the club. “We wanted to look at sponsoring another big club in sport, following Nissan’s successful partnership with Manchester City, and are delighted to announce this partnership with an elite Premiership rugby club,” said Dave. “Our first move was to handover two Nissan Qashqais to managers, four Nissan Jukes to support staff, and one seven-seater X-Trail for community use.” West Way have also provided a Nissan van to help with Sale Sharks community project to get disabled people playing wheelchair rugby. West Way have also joined the Sale Sharks Business Club, a growing arm of the rugby side’s corporate offer. The dealership will also introduce a variety of offers to Sale Sharks fans, one of which is paying for the value of a season ticket if a fan buys a Nissan.
