West Way Leads the LEAF to Local Business

Our team at West Way Oldham branched out of their St. Mary’s Way dealership and visited a local business to shout out about how the LEAF and switching to electric driving could benefit their lives. The visit to the Positive Steps office was part of the Government-backed Work Placement Programme, which sees dealerships visit local businesses and negotiate deals & discounts on electric vehicles with employees. We showcased the LEAF to the staff at Positive Steps to prove that really, switching to electric driving doesn’t have to be that daunting! Employees were able to look at the LEAF, explore all of its features and ask any questions which they may have regarding its range, benefits and charging. Phil Behrens, the Dealer Principal at West Way Oldham, thinks the scheme is a great idea for allowing drivers to learn more about the LEAF and electric driving in a non-pressure environment. Positive Steps is the first business to be visited as part of the scheme, however Phil and the team are on a mission to get the LEAF out and about! “We are looking at firms with 50 or more employees.
