Here at West Way we are delighted to confirm that we have recently been accredited as an Investor in People.

Investors in People (IIP) is the nationally recognised standard for the management of people, offering accreditation to organisations that adhere to the Investors in People Standards. Successful accreditation in the IPP is a sign of a great employer having an outperforming workplace with a commitment to sustainability. West Way currently employs 620 individuals and we firmly believe that it is our staff that make the company one of the most respected dealer groups in the country.

Organisations that meet the Investors in People Standard reflect the very best in people management excellence. Based on 25 years of leading practice, the latest research and workplace trends, the Investors in People Framework is organised around nine key indicators of high performance each with three underpinning themes. These indicators are:

  • Leading and inspiring people
  • Living the organisation’s values and behaviours
  • Empowering and involving people
  • Managing performance
  • Recognising and rewarding high performance
  • Structuring work
  • Building capability
  • Delivering continuous improvement
  • Creating sustainable success

To achieve accreditation, organisations are assessed against these themes and indicators. Assessment is carried out using surveys, meetings and observation.
