Just when you associated the Nissan Juke with its wild, wacky demeanour, it’s now brought out its Sunday best; ready for prom as one might say- The 2017 Nissan Juke Black Pearl Edition. If you like the Jukes individuality and design, then you’ll love the somewhat more formal looking and classy Black Pearl. Nissan will debut the special edition Juke at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, which is taking place this week 18th – 27th November. What makes the Nissan Juke Crossover so different from other makes and models is the Juke Colour Studio which enables you to mix and match exterior and interior trim to create funky colour combinations.

Why the name ‘Black Pearl’?

And before you say it... The Nissan Black Pearl No, It has nothing to do with Pirates of the Caribbean.  According to digitaltrends.com “It’s named after a special edition of the Datsun 280Z sports car from 1978. It features a black exterior with white accents, a pattern that continues on the interior with a white centre console and other white trim pieces on mostly black surfaces." [i] Nissan says the special edition “embraces the spirit of every Nissan Z, combining bold styling with dynamic performance.”[ii] The white accents are the key feature of the Juke Black Pearl which the Datsun 280z didn’t have, giving off a tuxedo vibe.
