Kia’s ‘Little Titans’ now pack a bigger punch
There’s lots of news about the Kia Picanto and Rio – these ‘Little Titans’ have just had an upgrade. For the Picanto, there’s a new, three-grade line up for the 5-door, more equipment and great news on the entry-level price. Meanwhile, the five-door Rio enjoys a new four-grade line up, equipment upgrades across the model range and again, there’s some good news on the entry-level pricing. It’s all happening down at your local Brayley Kia, so come in and see for yourself.
The new trim levels for the five-door Picanto are ‘1 Air’, ‘SE’ and ‘Sport’. Although the previous base-level ‘1’ has now been superseded by the ‘1 Air’, with additions such as air conditioning and Bluetooth, the starting price for the five-door Picanto range remains at an extremely competitive £8,545. The new ‘SE’ grade replaces the ‘SR7’, but now also comes with automatic air conditioning and the intelligent Stop/Go system, whilst the new ‘Sport’ grade enjoys a host of sporty design enhancements inside and out, including five-barrel 15” alloy wheels, as well as additional equipment like satellite navigation.
The Rio five-door model now has two new trim grades, ‘1 Air’ and ‘SE’, whilst retaining the ‘3’ and ‘4’ models. Like the Picanto, the Rio ‘1 Air’ now comes with air conditioning and stays at £10,945 for this new entry-level model. The five-door Rio ‘SE’ has all the specification of the previous ‘SR7’, as well as new equipment, including automatic air conditioning, front fog lights, a rain sensor, cruise control and speed limiter, and electrically folding, adjustable and heated door mirrors.
