New Electric Vehicle Number Plates

On the 8^th December, The Department for Transport and the Office for Low Emission vehicles has confirmed that new and used zero-emission cars may use number plates with a green flash.

The front and rear of the vehicle will carry a green strip on the left hand side to make it easier to identify 100 percent zero-emission vehicles. This is with a view to assist local authorities when rolling out zero-emission zones and free parking for electric cars.
