Mighty Micra get a makeover

That’s right! We can confirm that the much loved Nissan Micra has been given a facelift! The Micra has come a long way since the model launched 30 years ago, however it retains many of its original values, such as its incredible agility and how fun it is to drive! The exterior has been revamped, so that it now has a stronger more aggressive look. With its new-shape grille, bonnet, wings, headlamps and front and rear bumpers with LED tail lamps, the Micra’s styling has been completely brought up to speed to rival its super-mini counterparts. This new model is available with 15 or 16 inch alloy wheels and in 2 brand new colours, the pearlescent metallic turquoise ‘Pacific Blue’ and metallic ‘Platinum Sage’. The well-known Nissan trims, Visia, Acenta,Tekna and DIG-S will also apply varying the Micra’s level of specification. The Micra, despite its compact size is crammed with gadgetry previously only seen in its larger siblings, the Juke and Qashqai. Advanced features include the I-Key keyless entry/engine start and the latest Nissan Connect navigation and communication system with integrated 5.8 inch screen. A new feature of this is the Google send-to-car technology which allows the driver to plan their journey at home on their computer or tablet and send it to the car prior to setting off. Also available, is the innovative parking aid with Parking Slot Measurement and Rear Parking sensors making the Micra the perfect city car. A fantastic new feature is the fact you can now make the car your own and personalise it! With options available from Acenta trim and upwards, these include, various coloured wheel centre caps, door mirrors, gear knobs, gear stick surrounds, air vents and velour mats. To top it off, the Micra has extremely low CO2 emissions, from just 115g/km in the Visia trim and 95g/km in the DIG-S version, keeping it’s carbon footprint to an absolute minimum!
