Since its launch, the Next Generation Qashqai has been causing a stir across the country, including being awarded the ‘What Car?’ Car of the Year Award for 2014! Steve Howarth, Manchester Evening News’ resident motoring journalist checked it out for himself and here is what he had to say. ‘When a popular car is updated it always creates a lot of interest – but West Way Manchester say they have been bowled over by the impact of the new Qashqai. Despite only going on sale less than a month ago, West Way say they have sold 55 of the Sunderland-built Crossovers – which we will be reviewing in the MEN Motoring next month. Redesigned from the ground up, new Qashqais are now rolling off the UK production line at the rate of one every 61 seconds, 24-hours a day. West Way General Manager David Gordon said: “We knew the Qashqai was good, but we were still amazed with the reaction. One of its biggest selling points is the technological innovation Nissan have built into the car.”’ If you want to find out more about the Next Generation Qashqai then visit our website by clicking here or contact your local West Way dealership today!
