Discover the new Kia shooting brake

Car manufacturers often eulogise about the design of their cars, but it’s a rare thing that something so unique, so amazing and just so super wow emerges from a motor show. But that’s what Kia has achieved with this new Kia pro_cee'd concept. Revealed at the Frankfurt show is the Kia shooting brake, taking hot-hatch styling and extending it into this breathtaking Kia pro_cee'd shooting brake. And there’s good news too, because this isn’t just a concept, it’s heading for production, so make sure you register your interest to be kept up to date as soon as we know more.

With all the athletic style of the current pro_cee’d and a whole lot more, the Kia shooting brake is lithe, lean and low. Doing away with obtrusive B-pillars, the pro_cee'd concept enjoys a slim waistline and an incredibly muscular appearance, all emphasised by the rakish roofline and the dynamic side windows that follow the shape of the roof from front to back. Rising out of the rear quarter panel, the dynamic shark’s fin proudly displays the GT badge. It all sits on assertive, six-spoke, aluminium alloy wheels. From the front, the signature tiger-nose grille and the Stinger-inspired bonnet vigorously shout ‘Kia’. The pictures show the Kia pro_cee'd concept finished in stunning Lava Red, a unique finish created by applying multiple layers of black, chrome-effect silver and red-tinted lacquer by hand.

Designed for the next generation of Kia drivers who demand awesome performance and awe-inspiring design, the Kia pro_cee'd shooting brake also features Luminline, a night-time, light greeting as you approach the car that outlines its glasshouse effect. We’re looking forward to the production model being even more exciting than the concept, so register your interest to make sure you’re not left in the dark.
