Juke-R #001 hits the road
Back in May 2012, Nissan announced that the Juke-R would be put into production for a limited period of time, on a build to order basis. Now, the very first Juke-R #001 has been built and is on its way to its lucky owner.
Initially a one-off concept car, the Juke-R has since gained interest and Nissan have begun a small production run of the super-crossover. Built by motorsports outfit RML, Nissan's flagship Juke has been redesigned using the GT-R's 3.8litre V6 engine. It packs a punch at 454 bhp and will reach 0-62mph in 3 seconds, with a top speed of 170mph. The aggressive exterior design includes definition of the front bumper with a carbon trim on the cooling vents. The Juke-R #002 production is already well underway. There has been significant interest worldwide in the Juke-R with more than 5 million views on YouTube to date! With prices starting at a hefty £400,000 very few of us could afford to drive the Juke-R around a track, until now...
The Juke-R joins the Juke Nismo in an upcoming mobile racing game: Gameloft Asphalt 7 which will be available soon on iOS and Android users.
