We’re proud to announce that the New Honda NSX What Car? Reader Award potential is huge this year. Yes, the new Honda NSX supercar has been shortlisted for one of the most sought after awards there is: the What Car? Reader Award.
The Reader Award is so special, because it shows what you, the motorist, like and are looking forward to most. What Car? asks its readers to vote for the car they are most eagerly anticipating over the next 12 months. And, if you like what you’ve seen so far, we invite you to vote at www.wcreaderaward.com.
After an intensive development programme by Honda’s global engineering and design team in Ohio, the new petrol-electric Honda NSX will come to market in mid-2016, bringing a new sports experience to supercars. The NSX will have an aggressive design at the front with classic wide and low proportions, whilst the rear lights will be reminiscent of the original NSX from 1990. The sporting supercar specification will feature a new DOHC V6 engine with twin turbochargers and a newly developed nine-speed DCT, together producing an estimated 0-62mph time of under three seconds, a top speed of 191mph and developing 565bhp. In 2015, the What Car? Reader Award was won by the Honda HR-V, so let’s keep it in the Honda family again this year – voting is open now, but only until 27 November: www.wcreaderaward.com
