As the F1 season entered its final lap of the circuit, the Formula E season sparked into life, with back-to-back races in Hong Kong over the weekend. Despite initial concerns over its appeal, the all-electric series has continued to strengthen and shake things up in the world of motor sport. Nissan will enter the Formula onE fold in the 2018/19 season as the first Japanese automotive brand to compete and line up alongside other manufactures, in ePrixs, throughout key venues, such as Berlin, Paris, Rome, New York and Montreal.
Nissan’s three-pillar strategy to redefine how its vehicles are driven, powered and integrated into society, will only heighten with its presence in the Formula E series; giving The New LEAF a highly visible global platform to showcase its ingenious technology to a new generation of driving fans.
