Brayleys Customer MX-3

Richard started his career in 1994 through a graduate programme in the service department of a large Rover dealership, before moving into sales and then into management, first with a Honda dealership from 2002 and then with a Mazda dealership since 2006. He jumped at the chance to join the Brayleys team, saying: “The Milton Keynes facility is one of the largest and most modern in the network, and I know that with the people now in place, and the backing of the Brayley group, we will be able to provide outstanding customer service.”

One of the first things Richard has done is purchase a Mazda MX-3 from a long-time customer and friend of Brayley Milton Keynes, Roy Allen. Roy bought it as a present for his wife 22 years ago, when he retired. Sadly, due to his wife’s ill health, Roy decided to sell the car and it currently enjoys pride of place in our Milton Keynes showroom. With a limited production run between 1991 and 1998, this MX-3 is in stunning condition and runs as sweetly as ever, having been cared for so well, and it has only covered 46,000 miles. It boasts one of the tiniest V6 engines ever put into a production model and represents an almost unique opportunity to purchase one of these increasingly rare cars – there are probably no more than a few hundred still around. The 1.8-litre engine has a delightful sound to it and offers an exciting-feeling 0-60mph time of 8.5 seconds. With its leather interior and the added benefit of a sunroof, this is a car looking for a good home, where it will be truly appreciated. Do come along and take a look, if only to be reminded of what it means to be amazed by a Mazda. Explaining his decision to buy the MX-3, Richard Lodge said: “Brayleys is first and foremost a family business and we have a passion for cars that goes beyond the commercial.”
