What Car? has named the Used Nissan LEAF 40kWh 2018 Model their 2021 Used Electric Car of the Year. Not only that, the 1st Generation Model - in production from 2011 to 2017 - received a Price Point Award and was named Best Buy of 2020 by Which? Magazine.

Many review videos and write up's have complimented the 2nd Generation Nissan LEAF (40kWh) too. As one of the big-named players in the review industry, What Car? had these comments about the used electric car: “Nissan has developed a rounded and refined package with the 2nd Generation Nissan LEAF. Mark Pearson, Used Car Editor at What Car?, said: “We’re delighted to give the Nissan LEAF our Used Electric Car of the Year Award this year. This 2nd Generation model is a truly affordable electric vehicle that’s always impressed us for its practicality and ease of use, and with its impressive real-world range it’s also a great everyday proposition.”

What Car? also had amazing comments about the 1st Generation Nissan LEAF. The leading review company compared it to other electric car rivals in the same price bracket. By collecting data from 47,000 motorists on reliability and practicality, this offers a more informed review for decision making motorists. What Car? awarded their Price Point Award to the 1st Generation Nissan LEAF on this basis. The Post-2017 model offered a larger number of Post-2017 models within the £13,000 price range. The 1st Generation Nissan LEAF has received a long list of accreditations. The model was named the 'Best Electric Vehicle' in the Auto Express Used Car Award three years in a row from 2016-2018.
