MAP covers the following motoring emergencies:
- Mechanical or electrical breakdown
- Road traffic accident
- Fuel problem
- Lost or broken key
- Puncture or valve leak
- Vandalism or attempted theft
Mitsubishi Assist UK and Europe is included free of charge on all new Mitsubishi models and covers a period of three years commencing from the day of registration.
HOME AND ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
Whether you’re at your home or anywhere within Europe, Mitsubishi’s MAP service will arrange assistance for you. The first course of action will be to try to fix your vehicle and get you on your way again, but if that’s not possible Mitsubishi will pay the cost of taking your vehicle to the authorised Mitsubishi dealer or Mitsubishi authorised service point nearest to your home address in the UK. That means you can be assured that only genuine Mitsubishi parts and materials will be used and they’ll be fitted by fully trained, expert Mitsubishi technicians.
ONWARD TRAVEL OR HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
If repairs to your vehicle cannot be completed within four hours, whenever possible, MAP will organise and pay for you and your passengers to continue your journey or return home by the most appropriate means, most often being a suitable hire car. However, if the problem occurs more than 30 miles from your home address and overnight accommodation is a more practical solution, the cost of accommodation for you and your passengers to the value of £100 per person (£150 in Greater London) for a maximum of four nights will be covered. The maximum allowance under this benefit is £500 including VAT.
