MX-30 RANGE AND PERFORMANCE
The Mazda MX-30 features e-Skyactiv electric-drive technology with an AC
synchronous electric motor and a powerful 35.5kWh lithium-ion battery.
The maximum range of about 124 miles, is more than enough for most
people’s average daily drive. And with a maximum 145ps and torque output
of 271Nm, the MX-30 will accelerate from 0-62mph in just 9.7 seconds.
MX-30 KODO DESIGN
Mazda design focus is all about creating more - with less. The elegant
cabin silhouette is enhanced by the freestyle doors. The front doors
open forward to an angle of 82 degrees, while the rear doors open
backwards, facilitating cabin access. Take your choice of striking
exterior finishes, with the brilliant black roof and metallic grey upper
side panels contrasting with the main body colour. Choose from Ceramic
Metallic or Polymetal Grey Metallic single colours, and three-tone
Ceramic Metallic or three-tone Soul Red Crystal Metallic colour schemes.
MX-30 features new functions that augment
the connection between the car, driver and environment; many are
available remotely. The latest development of the MyMazda app allows
users to find the nearest charging station, control the charging process
and relay real-time vehicle information from a distance, including
navigation, door locking and cabin temperature. The app even reminds you
if you forget to charge the battery.
the MX-30 is the first Mazda vehicle to feature touchscreen climate
control which intelligently adjusts the temperature, air flow and seat
heating throughout the interior. The touchscreen has been designed to
stimulate the senses, creating a relaxed ambience that enriches your
MX 30 INTERIOR – REFINED COMFORT
Inside, this all-electric SUV is spacious and
beautiful, featuring recycled and eco-friendly materials. In a nod to Mazda’s
history in the 1920s, environmentally sourced cork is used in the centre
console trays and inner side door handles. Rather than real leather, the MX-30
favours a vegan-friendly material.
The First Edition features a bright and modern cabin
ambience with light grey cloth, and stone leatherette with orange seat
stitching. Standard interior equipment includes a projected head-up display, an
eight-way electric adjustable driver’s seat, a colour 7” TFT dial display and a
leather-wrapped steering wheel with chrome trim accents.
Technology innovations include Mazda Connect, Apple
CarPlay and Android Auto. Further enhancing the cabin environment, the new
Mazda MX-30 is equipped with a choice of two high-quality sound systems
including a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system for higher-grade models. New levels
of sound performance deliver deeper, more impactful audio performance
throughout the cabin with different listening modes ensuring a close emotional
connection between the passengers and their music.
MX-30 E-SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY
The ‘Jinbai Ittai - car and driver as one’ ethos of intuitive driving engagement has been designed into the Mazda MX-30 from the start. Electric G-Vectoring Control Plus enhances chassis performance by using motor torque to optimise the front-rear load shift, improving stability. The smooth power delivery of the e-Skyactiv drivetrain delivers a seamless transition between drive power, energy regeneration and effortless hydraulic brake action.
next-generation Skyactiv Vehicle Architecture also reduces weight,
increases rigidity and improves energy transmission efficiency. Chassis
and suspension developments include reinforced crossmembers, and a
MacPherson strut front and torsion beam rear set-up. The results take
this Mazda EV to new levels of driver engagement with improved agility,
enhanced communicative controls and more balanced handling on all road
surfaces and in all conditions.
DRIVING THE MX-30
Driving the MX-30 is easy, thanks to Mazda’s electric motor torque
control system. Press the accelerator slowly for a natural and smooth
power delivery or harder for a quick response with more power. In
addition, Mazda has worked to ensure seamless deceleration and energy
regeneration when coasting or under braking. Choose from five settings
for natural, smooth and progressive deceleration with total control.
