Stinger GT power

The Stinger features the Kia ‘Lambda’ twin-turbo 3.3-litre T-GDi V6 petrol engine paired with the smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission. The power unit produces 370 ps at 6,000 rpm and its 510Nm torque is accessible from 1,300 to 4,500 rpm, giving the Stinger effortless performance everywhere.

Kia Stinger Driving experience

Drivers have a choice of two instrument cluster displays, based on model spec. Choose the new 4.2-inch color-TFT LCD cluster with improved visibility and displaying a wider range of information to the driver. The fully-digital, high-resolution 7.0-inch ‘Supervision’ cluster features a full-colour display and vivid graphics for different driving modes.

Enhanced Stinger infotainment

Depending on specification options, the upgraded Stinger is now available with a new ‘connected’ 10.25-inch touchscreen display. The advanced split-screen function allows users to customise the screen with a series of different widgets and connect two mobile devices at the same time with the Bluetooth multi-connection. The 10.25-inch system also offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, with a voice control system for many features including heating and ventilation, audio and navigation.

New and upgraded driver-assist technology

The upgraded Kia Stinger features existing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as well as a series of updates providing more protection for drivers, passengers and other road users. Depending on vehicle specification, you’ll find many updated systems such as:

• Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
• Lane Keeping Assist
• Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist
• Intelligent Speed Limit Assist with traffic sign recognition
• Driver Attention Warning with an increased operating speed of up to 210 kph
• Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control
• Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist

New driver assistance technologies and convenience features have also been added to the Stinger for the first time:

Safe Exit Warning - detects vehicles coming up from behind on either side of the Stinger when stationary or parked.

Blind-Spot View Monitor - eliminating blind spots by displaying displays a high-resolution video on the ‘Supervision’ digital instrument cluster if the driver indicates to change lane with another vehicle in their blind spot.

Lane Following Assist - helps the vehicle stay in the centre of its lane.

Highway Driving Assist - helps maintain a set distance from the vehicle in front on the highway, keeping the car in the centre of its lane even on curved roads.

Rear Occupant Alert - provides a warning to the driver if they leave behind children or pets when they leave the car.
