The new Kia Soul: better connectivity and safety, same standout style
The new Soul takes style even further. Famous for its distinctive, charismatically bold crossover looks, the new Soul steps up another level to ensure this is the SUV that continues to stand out from the crowd. LED daytime running lights and the Kia signature tiger-nose grille combine with metallic skid plates and gloss black front and rear wheel arches to further emphasise the Soul’s stylish SUV credentials. And it’s not just on the outside where the new Soul differentiates itself, with new technology inside and under the skin featuring, that provides a more connected, convenient and safer drive. A more exciting drive, too, in the shape of the 201bhp 1.6 T-GDI, which is capable of 0-62mph in just 7.5 seconds.
Available towards the end of the year, the new Kia Soul enjoys technology to make your life inside it easier. Kia’s Human-Machine Interface (HMI) colour touchscreen is now fitted, available in 5-, 7- or 8-inch versions, the new system providing smartphone-style touchscreen control over the audio-visual navigation system. Talking of smartphones, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ allow for full smartphone integration. The new HMI systems also houses a rear-view camera to make parking safer, and the adoption of Blind Spot Detection (BSD) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) gives drivers better all-round visibility on motorways as well as during low-speed manoeuvring. Rain sensing windscreen wipers have also been added to assist the driver. The new Kia Soul, not just fun and style.
