The cockpit of the Kia EV6 is as distinctive as the exterior, giving us an insight into what future electrified Kias could look like. The main focal point of the interior is the large, curved, high-definition ‘audio visual and navigation’ screen, otherwise known as the ‘AVN’. Extending across from the steering wheel to the centre of the dashboard, the screen displays an instrument cluster in front of the driver as well as infotainment and navigation in the centre console.
Below the AVN, the HVAC provides controls for heating, ventilation and air conditioning. Using haptic buttons, the controls slope towards the front of the car, creating a sense of openness and space for the front passengers.
Slim, lightweight seats clad in modern, rugged fabrics using recycled plastics offer comfort and support, while simultaneously adding to the open, spacious feel of the cabin.
