KIA SORENTO HYBRID

The next–generation, all-new Sorento Hybrid features Kia’s electric power technology for the first time. The combined 1.6-litre T-GDi (Turbocharged Gasoline Direct injection) engine, 44.2kW electric motor and 1.49kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack produce a total power output of 226bhp and 265Nm of torque.

The result is better driving performance with lower emissions and greater fuel-efficiency. The all-new Sorento has CO2 emissions as low as 158g/km and a combined fuel economy figure of up to 40.9mpg using the latest WLTP tests. And intelligent Kia hybrid design, where the battery pack is hidden beneath the passenger compartment, means cabin and luggage space is as big as ever.

Unlike some hybrid vehicles, the all-new Sorento Hybrid can tow a braked trailer of up to 1,650kg in weight, with a maximum tow ball capacity of 100kg. That’s enough to tow a medium-sized caravan or boat with ease and in complete safety.

Inside the new Sorento, the ambience is refined, elegant and superbly practical, as you’d expect from this premium family SUV. Choose from black cloth or leather upholstery. Combine your choice with the panoramic sunroof option and light grey headlining to give a smart two-tone appearance to the cabin. Personalise your interior, thanks to the cabin’s Mood Lighting system by choosing one of seven pre-set colours, or from a wider range of 64 shades.

Interior comfort

For ultimate family practicality and space, the all-new Sorento comes with seven seats as standard. The second row has a 60:40 split, remote folding and you can even recline the seats for greater comfort. There’s a 50:50 split and fold arrangement for the third row. USB charge ports and dual-zone automatic air conditioning outlets are available for all three rows.

Driving the Sorento Hybrid is a seamless and comfortable experience.
