As EV ownership is increasing year on year, this award highlights the incredible value offered by the unique Soul EV.
The Auto Trader awards are consumer-led, with 148,000 UK car owners voting for the best cars currently on sale in the UK. Owners are asked to rate their vehicle across 16 categories, including stability, reliability, safety and features.
The Kia Soul EV stood out for its incredible value, especially when taking the £2,500 government plug-in car grant into consideration. There are also a wide range of affordable finance offers available, making the Kia Soul EV even more affordable.
Aside from the great price, the Soul EV was recognised for its 280 miles per charge, ample power, durability and ease of driving. A great level of standard equipment is also a highly sought-after characteristic in the EV category, and the Soul delivers.
Commenting on the Kia Soul EV win, Erin baker, Editorial Director of Auto Trader, said: “The Kia Soul EV came top of the class for space that was easy to make use of, and also scored high marks for its power, durability, easy to drive and easy to park. Owners described the Kia Soul EV as, ‘great value for money, roomy, efficient, small on the outside and big on the inside’. Well done, Kia.”
Other Kia models also did well at the Auto Trader awards. The Kia Niro, Kia Sportage and all-new Kia Sorento were all shortlisted for awards in various other categories. Kia was also shortlisted as ‘Car brand with the best new tech’.
