Honda MSX125 125cc

Weighing no more than 100 kilogrammes, the Honda MSX125 is a little bike that has a lot to offer. For a start, it’s hugely enjoyable to ride – and perfect for zooming around town.

Petite, funkily fashioned and provisional licence-friendly, the MSX125 – also known as the Grom – has achieved cult status the world over. It first rolled off the assembly line in 2014, immediately garnering widespread acclaim and popularity. The Grom very much shares DNA with the Honda Monkey but offers greater mini-sports appeal, as opposed to the Monkey’s emphasis on retro stylings.

If you’re looking for a high-spirited bike that’s easy and fun to ride, and which stands out from the 125cc crowd, the Honda MSX125 is an excellent option.

Powerful, progressive braking The MSX125’s brakes are up to Honda’s usual high standards. Powerful, progressive and harmoniously paired with Anti-lock Braking System, they’re designed to bring the bike to a safe stop, irrespective of the speed you’re travelling at.
Plush suspension Upside-down 31-millimetre front forks and a rear mono-shock absorber allow the Grom to travel on a wide range of surfaces without upsetting your ride – in fact, you’ll barely notice the difference.
Cool new engine A new and air-cooled 125cc engine delivers noteworthy urban performance levels and everyday affordability, and it’s now paired with a five-speed gearbox (and manual clutch) that offers greater control.
