HYBRID POWER ON THE ROAD

The CR-V Hybrid utilises three power modes which maximise fuel economy and driving performance in a way that is perfectly adapted for our roads:

  • EV Drive Mode uses the power of the electric propulsion motor to move silently around town at lower speeds, making it ideal for start-stop city driving and easy parking.
  • Hybrid Drive Mode combines the petrol engine and the second electric motor which augments the output from the battery to move the car forwards electrically.
  • Engine Drive Mode drives the wheels alone with an on-demand power boost at higher speeds and intensities.

Switching between modes is automatic and seamless thanks to Honda’s intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD). You can be confident that the CR-V Hybrid maximises efficiency and performance no matter what the terrain or driving conditions. Real-time data is displayed on the driver’s instrument panel showing power mode and fuel economy.
