All-New Kia XCeed & Ceed Sportswagon Hybrids are go!

Low-emissions, plug-in Hybrid power is coming soon to the Ceed Family

Coming to Brayley Kia early next year, the Ceed Family is going Hybrid!

Kia are already leading manufacturers of electric and hybrid cars, with the Kia Niro range. And now they’ve taken a further step to roll out EV technology with Hybrid versions of the Kia XCeed and Ceed Sportswagon.

The XCeed and Ceed Sportswagon plug-in Hybrid power offers an all-electric driving range of around 60 kilometres. And with the dual advantage of low emissions and improved economy, the majority of daily journeys can be achieved on electric power alone.

The new Hybrid configuration features an 8.9 kWh battery pack, a 44.5 kW electric motor and an energy-efficient 1.6-litre ‘Kappa’ four-cylinder petrol engine. You’ll benefit from 139 bhp (141 ps) total power output, enabling acceleration from 0-to-60 mph in less than 11 seconds.

Regenerative braking technology further enhances the energy efficiency of these cleaner vehicles. These systems recuperate energy created while coasting and braking which assist battery recharging.

The new Hybrid models naturally feature Kia’s unrivalled seven-year, 100,000-mile warranty as standard, including the battery and motor.

Arriving early next year, the new Kia XCeed and Ceed Sportswagon Plug-in Hybrids offer a practical and engaging alternative to Petrol and Diesel models.
